Well, I decided to type this after I could see through my tears. My hamster just died and I've had him for about 3 and a half years. I think he would like it if we all talked about our pets that recently died and we all talked about how great they were. His name was Hammy. He was the cutest in the pet shop, I chose him when we were getting some food for my parakeet, lived abotu 10 years, still alive thank god, but I couldn't get him until about a month after. I could tell it was him. His dark eyes, his brown and white fur that almost made a smiley on his back. Even my brother, Shadowtroid, does not realize how much I put into this Hamster. I said goodbye to him more then I did my family, I protected him from my feral cat with my life. Tonight we say some final words then his body will be rested and he will be in a better place. R.I.P. Hammy.

Well, fuck. Here goes.
Okay, well, for a few years, until, like, the end of 7th grade, I would be dropped off at this nice lady's sort of day care. It was her house, but she watched over a bunch of kids there, that was her job.
Anyway, she LOOOOOVED cats. She had quite a few. Sometimes she would get strays from outside that would like to stay in her garage.
One such stray had kittens in her garage. Now, this lady, who had not enough room for all of those kittens, was giving them away to the kids she took care of for free. I was one of them. I took the black cat.
We had her for a while, then we moved. So I started being dropped off straight to home. Anyway, my dad was a heavy drinker at the time. More so as of recent, since he had no job. He would stumble and fall all over the house sometimes, and cut his head open a bunch. Well, after about a year, Skylar (the kitten) was in heat. She was annoying as shit, obviously. Well, daddy didn't like that. We kept her in the laundry room, but she was still fucking loud. So, while I was on the computer, he went into the laundry room and closed the door. I could hear him fighting with her a little, then the door opened, he came out, grabbed a garbage back, went back in, and closed the door again. Came back out, bag was full, went outside, threw it in the back of his truck. I was fucking furious. He said she was dead and not to DARE go look because "I shouldn't see that."
Anyway, soon after, he left. (Apparently, she wasn't really dead, he just dropped her off at a nearby farm. I still don't know for certain.)
I spent the next few nights at my cousins' houses, then my dad went into rehab.
So, thanks, Skylar. You saved my dad's life by being the catalyst to convince him to stop drinking.

Saddest story Neo.
Just so sad.
...if it's not too out of place, Skylar is the best name for a cat.

The laundry room was RIGHT NEXT to the computer, too.
I could hear her screaming and everything but I didn't wanna get involved and just kept role playing while crying silently.
But it was worth it I guess.

..hm..i have two really..very connected
you see when i was born..we got a dog his name was Taylor, and he was a big big poodle..i dont know exactly what his was..but..he was a big poodle
now..when i was little..we were almost never apart...i would ride him..play around with him all sorts of stuff..but the biggest thing about him..is that he helped me learn to walk
i used to hang onto him and he would walk around slowly and i would take little steps around the room...i would fall..and he would help me back up and we would do another round..
now..there was one problem..he was scared of EVERYTHING..it was something in him..that made him scared..like..agoraphobia..i was like his only friend really..and if i wasnt around he would run away from people
anyway..when i was about 5 we found a cat outside and took her in cuz it was winter..and turned out she was pregnent with 7 little kittens..and gave birth..but the thing about that is..after that..we kept her there and she scared Taylor all over the place..but it turned out she had a spreadable diseases..we arent sure what it was..but it was pretty nasty..and it got taylor too....
so..i lost my best friend..just like that
but we kept two of the kittens..named them leo (becuase derp cat) and George (after george forman)
they were like..the jumpest brothers..they were ALWAYS fighting.and leo would force george to get clean..it was hilarious...and leo was a BIG cat..we always said he was as big as a dog..haha..and he was..but one day..he wasnt feeling to hot...so we took him into the vet...and it turned out he had alot of tumors in him...he wasnt gonna live long..and one day he went under my moms bed and just..stayed there....it was a school day and i had to go so..i just left...when i got back..he was still alive..i could see him breathing..and it was hard for him to..i could tell..but i pet him..tryed to make him relax..and as i did..he passed away..like..he waited for me...
but..yeah..thats my story...wall of text over

I've had a few. There was one cat I really liked. Named her Rainbow (Yes it's a silly name but at the time it was nice). She was a calico cat, with mostly white fur, spots of black and tan, and different colored eyes. One blue, one green. She was such a nice cat. I had her in the house for the longest time. I really didn't like her being outside at all. Thought she was too nice for it. She had to go outside a few times and she had some kittens here and there. She was sort of a crappy mother though as far as I can remember. Despite that, I really loved that kitty.
She had to go outside though, parent's said so. One day though, she got into some bad stuff. I can't remmeber what it was, but it poisoned her very badly. She couldn't move her legs at all, and she had to be carried into a cage, in the garage. I felt like a monster for letting this happen. I really did, I pet her for a couple of hours, knowing the inevitable was going to come.
I had my hopes up high that morning, I couldn't sleep. I was too worried about Rainbow. It was about seven, and I went down to the garage to check on her, and it hit me. I felt her and she was cold. She was dead. I broke out into tears as I went up the stairs, trying my best to hold it in before. My mother was awake at the time, and she gave me a hug after I told her.
I really...really miss that cat.

Oh my gosh. These are sad. I really don't have that many very sad pet stories though...
I guess I can tell you about Skittles Lily and Tic Tac. They didn't really die, but it's a (in my eyes) sad tale all the same.
This is back when I was a freaking idiot. Keep that in mind.
Before I got my beloved dog (which is now either dead or with what i thought was a dog sitter but turned out to be the new owned) we had kitties. We had found a pack of four stray kittens behind our shed, with no mommy. They were dirty yet cute all the same. Of course we couldn't take care of four cats, so we sold the two that looked like twins, both dark brown. I don't remember what we named them, or if we named them at all before they were sold. But anyway we had two cats left, Tictac and Skittles. Tic tac would hide under beds then paw at you when you walked by. So cute. We called her Tic Tac Sneak Attack. She got most the attention. I'm not sure why we named her that, maybe because it was just cute, but she was black and white kind of a cookies and creams pattern. A few years later she would be sold. But that's beyond the point. The character here is Skittles. In my eyes (correct me if I'm wrong Shadow) she was the middle child. Tic tac was cute and had her nickname and would be played with all the time. Skittles was cute as well, brown and white in a similar mix pattern. My brother and (freaking idiots...) would throw her up against the side of the bed or other hard walls because we got amusement from the sound she made. I would strangle my young self now if I had the chance. That went on so long, so much yelling from my parents, so many hopeless screams along with the thonk that hurt her more and more each time she ran away. Not too long after that I got depressed because it was clearly my fault and stopped playing with Tic Tac as much.
Now back to Tic Tac.
He/she (dont remember) continued being cute, but received less attention from me for I was in constant sorrow based off Skittles. Eventually I wanted a dog. A house across the street was talking about how they were willing to buy a pet. So yes, I was stupid enough to beg to give away a perfect kitten with cute motives and a catchy nickname. Eventually it happened and we got our dog. But that's beyond the point, we get to him after this. Tic Tac would come to visit sometimes, but eventually he stopped. We didn't really notice he skipped his monthly visits until not too long before we moved.
Okay, now to Lily.
She was awesome. I have more memories of her then anyone else. She was a herding dog, Long story short she was awesome. She chased me around the playground, she would "herd us" all onto the bed at night for family time, she would bite our legs when we didnt listen. But when it came time to move we had to go halfway across the country from Oklahoma to South Carolina, we had to give her to a "dog sitter". I was told we would be in an apartment, and we would get Lily when we got a house. Eventually we moved again to Virginia, we got a house. Did we get Lily? No. Also I didn't really say goodbye because I thought I would see her again soon.
Might have Skittles have died? Sure. Am I mad at my parents for possibly hiding her death from me like an idiot? Sure. Might have Tic Tac died? Sure. Am I mad for my parents for possibly hiding her death from me like an idiot? Sure. Might have my parents planned for Lily not to come back to our loving arms from the beginning? Sure. Am I mad at them for not even checking if she is still alive, or if they know telling me the truth? Heck Yes. Hint for parents, your kids would rather cry through the truth then end up older and never knowing the truth about what happened.
It's not as sad as these stories, but it's the best I got.
