OFFICAL ABT BLACK/WHITE POKEMON CONTEST

So, we're going to have a silly little contest with the new pokemon game, hitting March 6th. I figured it might be nice to have a set of ground rules and whatnot, so we don't have any disputes later.

DETAILS
1. This is going to be a Nuzlocke run. Basically, you must nickname each of your pokemon, and if a pokemon faints in combat, it is DEAD. You must release it. You may only catch the first pokemon you run into in an area. If you kill it, too bad, you'll have to try again with the next area or route you go in to.
2. Whoever beats the Elite 4 first, and provides proof (I.E. a photograph with your DS at the E4 victory screen or a screenshot of the emulator) will be considered the winner.
3. Emulators are allowed, but they must be played like the actual game. No speed hacks, ect.
4. You may only begin your play through of the game after the official release date. Even if the ROM of the game leaks early, your run won't be considered until the actual game hits the shelves.

PRIZES
The first person to beat the Elite 4 with their team will get a pokemon doll of their choosing sewn by our very own apocalypseArisen (b0).

Everyone else who beats the Elite 4 can compete in a tournament using their nuzlocke'd pokemon, i.e. no breeding, going back and catching more pokemon, etc. The prize for the tournament is a jumbo sized Jack Noir doll also sewn by b0, because she is awesome.

Good luck everyone, and we will see who the ABT pokemon master is.

I was grinding in Victory road next to the doctor when I came across a durant. I was using Ambali to slaughter them, and an exp share to power level my reserve pokemon. I looked up to watch something for a moment and when I looked down, Ambali had fainted. Apparently it was defeated by a pokemon 22 levels below it.
What the fuck, Ambali? This marks the end of my run. There's no way for me to make in time before the week is over when my best pokemon is defeated.
I'd like to say it was fun while it lasted, but I really made some amazingly awful mistakes, coupled with bad luck. This was supremely frustrating at every step. Too bad I won't get to enter the tournament. Oh well.
